Her Story

Jenny has worked as a commission-based artist for over a decade. Her work includes oil on canvas and painting on furniture, textiles, and other surfaces. While art has always been an outlet for her, Jenny is most fulfilled by sharing her talents with others. She minored in Fine Arts during undergraduate studies.
Much of her skill for home interior painting and decorating is drawn from both personal and professional experience. Home renovation projects and decorating have been lifelong hobbies. Jenny also trained and worked with an artisan furniture painting company for several years.
With a full-time career in world language education, Jenny has a respect and desire for culture, travel and learning. She loves building relationships with young people and strives to be an inspiring role model.
Jenny draws artistic inspiration from the natural world. An avid hiker and outdoor enthusiast, nature allows her to feel free. She relates to the beauty of the earth.

At home, Jenny's cats, Apollo & Cosmo, are always by her side and have a tendency to "supervise" her artistic projects.

What's in a Name?

"Jenny Wren", a childhood (and occasionally adulthood) nickname, is a nod to the inner child, evoking playfulness, fun and free-spiritedness. In Western culture, the wren is a symbol of the arts, spring and rebirth. The highly-energetic songbirds are known for their ingenuity, industriousness, and sociability. They are happy creatures, determined to enjoy every moment of their lives.
